Phenomenal! Just phenomenal!!! Transformed my grandparents' dining room table that I use as a desk, and my mother's coffee table that was badly beaten up, into chic new pieces. I'm ecstatic!!!
Rented a U-Haul over the New Years holiday and the staff here was amazing in making sure that I would be able to get the truck without anyone there. They answered all my questions and went above and beyond to make sure I didn't get stuck on moving day. Service like this is feeling increasingly rare these days and Found & Fixed deserves a lot of credit for their kindness.
Can't say enough good things about our experience with Found & Fixed! We brought them a pair of oak dressers that had belonged to my fiancé since childhood—pieces definitely showing their age and therefore had been residing in storage. The team treated the project with care, respect, and a true passion for craftsmanship. Not only did they restore the charm of the wood by removing a yellowed finish, but they also gave the dressers a modern touch that perfectly matches our style. The grain of the oak is now beautifully highlighted, the lines are clean and elegant, and the finish is absolutely flawless. They communicated clearly throughout the process, offered helpful suggestions, and delivered everything on time. We were blown away by the attention to detail and the pride they take in their work. These dressers aren’t just furniture anymore—they’re now statement pieces with a story, and we’re so thankful to Found & Fixed for making that happen. Found & Fixed Hudson Valley hosted a Kintsugi Repair Workshop, where everything was provided from white bowls to break, then Paint and finally piece back together. It was a good time as well as engaging with others in the community who want to learn repairing items to form something new. Justine found a great instructor and class to host. Note though this workshop was only 2 hours, so it uses a substitute glue material compared to traditional kintsugi material. While waiting for items to dry it was good to see the pieces in the shop the Found & Fixed team had been working on. The best part was the end to see all the different bowl creations pieces together.
The team is awesome, quality of work is top notch and the flexibility and creativity make the experience a lot of fun. They took one piece and split it in two to make two new pieces and also recycled a drawer from another piece and made it the specific dimension we needed. It was a great combination of recycling and customization.
