Fast unloading, no overnight parking, I slept in the street without any issues

The people here are good people very friendly , you might be offended because they have that philly lingo and thats just how they talk 😂
Warehouse hours are from 8am to 330pm
no overnight parking on premises. You can try to park on the street its a industrial business park but be mindful its at your own risk. James Fenimorw Coopers Rest area off the nj turnpike 12 miles pass the mt laurel exit is the best option . plenty of parking , rest rooms and food options and youre 15 to 20 min from HD supply.

1st time delivering, time in and out was quick enough. I had a partial load and needed to shift some pallets around for HD employees to unload me. It took a bit of haggling, but they let me use a pallet jack. All was well with the world.

2nd time here I show up at 13:30. I likely had a mid morning appointment, but trailer was swapped with me at 04:00, and I drove thru the early morning to deliver a long bundle of Pex pipe and 2 partial pallets. I was told I was late, I’d have to reschedule, they were ready to go home. I offered to unload it myself (no!), asked where I could toss it in the parking lot (we can’t be held responsible), and explained that I just drove 6 hours to deliver this as timely as possible (you signed up for that, not me!).

The receiving clerk did unload me (Thank you, I appreciate you helping me out!!), but the managers were just talking about trying to beat traffic getting home (I didn’t sign up for that!). Two other trucks arrived after me, too.

I heard the managers discussing changing the hours on their sign.

I really wish truckers operated under their own authority and could just blacklist these “work practices”. The squeaky wheels would get the grease and attitudes would improve. But cheap freight and no accountability wins every time.

Thanks to the receiving clerk for doing me a solid!

I hope the managers get stuck in a work zone delay on a high bridge for the next month, and that their AC blows only hot air…
