Found a local spot in my new area and decided to give it a try. The pork summer rolls were fresh and up to my standards. Service was clean, quick, and friendly. I’ll update once I try the pho….
UPDATED REVIEW…
I found this spot while searching for good pho 🍜. I started with the pork summer rolls 🥢 and ordered them a couple of times. Then I tried the spring rolls 🌯, and I wasn’t disappointed at all with either. I’ve never been a fan of the fish sauce that usually comes with spring rolls, but I decided to try their homemade fish sauce and I thoroughly enjoyed it 🥣✨. That led me to try the pho soup 🍜, which filled my tummy perfectly on a cold Friday evening ❄️😊. I loved everything and will definitely be back again and again ❤️🥢
Want it a little sho
Came in with a couple friends. All of us felt our food was not great. For the price point, it's not terrible, however if you can go to a better reviewed pho spot, do that instead. Service was inattentive until we received our food.
Alright, I'll say it. Food was dogwater bro. Pull up elsewhere. Might need a laxative after this.
Vietnamese Hoagie (7/10): Someone made my banh mi with hate in their heart. 1:3 ratio of jalapenos to meat, little/no white spread on the roll, and fillings stop 1 inch from the edges. The taste was still good, but this felt made with hate and no love lol
Chicken Satay (8/10): Really yummy and fresh! Came with the chicken skewer, hoison peanut dipping sauce, and cucumbers (w/ surprise pube😭 deduct at least one point for that)
Thai Tea(4/10) : Bright orange and strange taste (I love thai tea and drink it normally)
Pho did not hit the spot for me. Broth was light and kind of on sweeter side for me. The meats doesn’t feel that like they were cooked in the broth. Overall, one try and done.
Vermicelli bowl - good but noodles broke up easily with the sauce (swapped to peanut sauce due to preference)
Will we return again - maybe if we’re in the area but won’t specifically make a trip for this.
I love hidden gems! Modest casual but excellent Vietnamese food in Bristol! Calming music; waiter is very nice; efficient service. Inexpensive, yet the food is awesome!
