The ladies at the front desk and therapist are nice. I like how they switch therapists for you and they do different stuff. My only 2 issues is that we never did some of the therapy my doctor wrote scripts for. And one of the therapist Sean is a piece of work. The first week he seemed cool but after that you start to notice little things. All the issues I had written down in the intake form and told to him personally, later down the line when I complained about parts of my body that hurts he smirks / chuckles like it’s made up. Or he’ll say “are u gonna say your feet hurt next”. It seems like the more issues you have the more frustrated he is and not very up to helping you. It got to the point where I switched days to go knowing hes not gonna be there. The other therapists really work with you and explain things, everytime I come. Sean just expects you to do the stuff he showed u last time and go back to his laptop. There were times I was doing an exercise and gotten tired, so I took a breather, he was just look at me funny like we aren’t allowed to take a break. Idk if it’s because he young, lazy or not interest in his job, but I wouldn’t recommend working with him.
I am overall very happy with novacare... The staff is great from the front desk to the therapist! They communicated very well on all the paperwork. Made it very easy. And also how they treat my daughter. The therapist is absolutely wonderful with her! So I feel they deserve a five star review!
Ellie is so sweet, kind, and gentle. In my short visits to NovaCare (Ellie), my doctor commented what an amazing improvement in my mobility of my finger. Thanks to Ellie for the special splint she created for my finger. Easy to find, no problem parking and public transportation is also available.
I don't usually give 5 stars for much. But NovaCare is wonderful. I've had a few sessions but I can already feel the difference. My balance is wonky at times still. But my body has gotten stronger. My PT person is Sean and he explains every exercise and it's purpose. I would highly recommend Bristol NovaCare.
I am committed to a 6 week therapy program for my left rotator cuff injury. The intake evaluation was easy and informative including home exercises. I was then handed off to my therapist Shirley who I could tell right was an athlete and had immediate trust in her. She explained every exercise completely and never has me over exerting. I can feel improvement half way through my course. I’m not sure if surgery will be out of the question because of the injury, but we’re hoping the PT will keep me from going that route.
Clean, not overcrowded, welcoming, knowledgeable staff.
