The Candy Cabin hits that perfect sweet spot where the vibe is fun, the shelves are loaded, and the people running it actually pay attention to what you like. I mentioned how impossible it is to find real grape licorice anywhere, and instead of giving me the usual “yeah good luck,” they went ahead and started ordering it for me. That’s the kind of customer service you remember.

Inside, everything feels welcoming and nostalgic—bright colors, rows of candy that make you feel like you’re 10 again, and zero pressure except the pressure you put on yourself when choosing between twenty different chocolates.

Outside, you’ve still got the Chew Chew Train and the mini golf, which turn a quick candy stop into a full little adventure. Kids burn off energy, adults sneak more candy, everyone wins.

Great staff, great selection, and the rare place that actually listens when you say what you wish they carried—and then goes and gets it.

The Candy Cabin is pure sugar-powered joy disguised as a building. Inside you get bright colors, shelves packed with classics and new favorites, and that “I should not be this excited about gummies but here we are” feeling. Everything is tidy, well-stocked, and run by people who clearly enjoy making everyone’s day a little sweeter.

And even though they don’t run it, the Chew Chew Train outside is a perfect bonus for kids—tiny train, big bragging rights. Pair that with the mini golf right next to it and the whole spot becomes an easy family win: candy, rides, and a chance to prove once and for all who in the family actually has putting skills.

In short: great selection, great vibe, fun for all ages, and the kind of place you stop at once and immediately add to your “we’re definitely coming back” list

The new owner Mike is a great guy to talk to. And very passionate about his job. If you ever stop in and he's there you should have a chat if he's not busy. The store has all kinds of chocolates. Along with all kinds of candy, some of which I haven't seen in almost 20 years. Did I mention that he has fantastic prices? Including a wall of 10¢ candy's. It's a must stop if you have the time and a sweet tooth!

Lovely little store, with all different candy and chocolates. From hard to find vintage varieties for some nostalgia, to, delicicious chocolate truflles, and everything in between. I've had several items from here and haven't been disappointed.
