Greg is an amazing nurse who is caring and attentive. My mom is a resident there and he provides great patient care
I spent almost 2 weeks there after back surgery. The physical therapy and occupational therapy were excellent. Every nurse and aide who assisted me were kind and caring. I felt well taken care of and seen as an individual, not just another patient. My only complaint was the bland food, but I understand they have to cook for a great many people with dietary restrictions. My daughter brought me salt, which helped quite a bit. That said, dietary staff was always pleasant and accommodating. All things considered, I was very pleased with my stay.
My mom was very ill. She was in another nursing home that was horrible but expensive and nice looking. She then went to Apple I can't say enough wonderful things . They never knew when I would show up but they were honest caring and present. My mom passed and that is sad but the nurses would come in and one gave her a kiss everyday. Mom looked forward to her visits. The college sends in cards for everyone. I know some people have a different experience and that is fine. But I knew mom would not come out of there. They took good care of her and the food was really good they do not just throw slop in front of you a heated cart with options comes around and you pick your food. It was a very pleasant atmosphere.
Ok I just discharged from here Sunday. I was in motorcycle accident and broke both my ankles. So I was there for therapy. Rehab department 5 stars hands down!!. Nursing staff worked dangerously short EVERYDAY and not once did I hear them complain 5 stars they were great. Housekeeping is horrible my room and bathroom would go days without cleaning until I complained. They would dump the trash and that was it. The toilet has this raised seating on it that was rusted. The privacy curtain and curtains on the windows had stains on them. Take them down wash them once a month have extras. Dietary was ok but I literally ate eggs and toast every morning. there were no other options. But the staff was really nice in dietary. Also the place is dated it could use some updates on the decor. This place has the potential to be a five-star facility if staffing, housekeeping, and dietary given the attention that is needed. If the physical therapy department wasn’t so great along with nursing staff my score would’ve been lower.
