This place was awesome the volcano of flavor very tasty and clean area nice customer service I really love this Indian cuisine restaurant I will come back soon!!!
Baingan is my favorite restaurant, and their food is out of this world. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant and the people that work there. Every meal I've had, whether dining in or taking out, has been some of the best food I've ever had. Particularly enjoy their Gobi Manchurian, their Chile cheese naan, and the cheese butter masala. Baingan has ruined me for any other Indian restaurant, and I recommend it to everyone, even those who claim not to enjoy Indian food. I truly believe there is something for everyone.
The atmosphere is relaxed with calming music and a lovely view overlooking the Housatonic. A buffet is served on the weekends, which is a great way to try new food items, and there is a large vegetarian selection.

We opted for the buffet, which was plentiful, hot and delicious.
The staff was awesome! Friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. The view of the water also added a wonderful atmosphere.

Went here for a birthday meal. Opted for the lunch buffet to get a sample of what they had. Pretty typical dishes offered- tikka masala, chili chicken, goat and chicken curry, chai tea, etc. the only good I didn’t care for so much was the chili chicken.
Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Imagine outs more gorgeous during summer and fall months. Service was attentive.
