Smaller footprint than many of the original stores. Staff were friendly and helpful. Park was atrocious, but they also share a parking lot with a Shoprite and a Homegoods, and it was the holiday season.

Finally!!! So glad to at last have a great bookstore in Southbury! It's exactly what you need, bright, cozy, easy to navigate, with lovely staff. Love wandering to get ideas for new reads.

The new Barnes & Noble is sooooo nice! I could walk around for hours. The staff is friendly and helpful and the selection of cool things other than books is really great for gifts.

I love that this store has finally come to Southbury. The staff in this location are super kind and friendly. I always get a warm smile from everyone I see while shopping. I like the openness of the store and that everything is in an easy to find and access spot. This location is so welcoming and a joy to stop in and look around for that perfect book or see what calls out to you.

A beautiful store, well laid out, and lots of variety in books. Basically what you'd expect from a Barnes & Noble location, but this isn't a big-box store and I was impressed with how much they fit in there without making it feel cluttered. I appreciated the local touches, such as the Connecticut-focused Travel section. Lots of nice trinkets and 'things' that you don't need but would bring you joy to have on your desk. In an era of ebooks and AI, even a corporate bookseller needs our support. So glad they're here!
