I love this place! Denise, in the paint department really knows her stuff. The nice guy with the beard, who has been there as long as I can remember, is so helpful and friendly. I go there for random items and he knows what I need before I even say it😁. The other day, I brought my almost 90 yr old stepfather in, and the guys at the counter reminisced with him, which meant so much. Truly. Thank you so much for that. There is a huge selection too! Highly recommend. 😊

My recent experiences have been excellent. We needed composite shiplap to side a customers chimney and nobody around could find it but CJ at Country Lumber. I had to find bi-fold closet doors that matched my existing entry doors and CJ had them for me next day with just a photo. Customer service is excellent and I will continue to be a customer moving forward. By the way, if you want us to do the work for you, call Ferraro’s Painting and Restoration in North Haven.

Did not appreciate the lecture. I called multiple times and in a prompt manner to make sure my items would be able to be delivered or picked up smoothly when they arrived. Ultimately, a real person has to be spoken to in order to arrange for delivery (which is what happened when I called today). The unsolicited whining about my not having a voice mailbox ("its called technology..." was the remark he made to me) was not only patronizing, it was completely unproductive.

Ordered 12 interior doors, received 13, two swung the wrong way. Called them, spoke with the rep, said they will replace the two doors and take the extra door back "will be done when the delivery guy arrives to deliver the new doors" guy shows up with no one home, drops of the doors and doesn't take the incorrect doors.(this is the scam where they get you). They charge me for the extra two doors and will not take the other doors back now. Now have 15 doors 3 extra. Gets better, order custom 60 inch slider. Standing in the house when measuring, rep asks "what direction do you want to door to open" Me- "open to the left". Contractor picks up the door. Goes to install, opens to the right. Wrong door (door wasn't really a good quality door). Called them and had I every expectation, because it is custom, to have to pay some percentage of the cost of the door, again ok with this. Rep says they won't take the door back because it is custom (60inch). If anyone is looking for a new 60inch door (not good quality) contact me. Huge discount. If you want to prevent from having the same issue as me work with another vendor and just ask them if something gets delivered with the wrong dimensions, swing, or damaged, ask if they will take it back, the majority of vendors will take the door back, but because it is custom you will need to pay a percentage of the door. For Example Home Depot will work with you and take the door back, but you will need to pay 15% of the cost.(better slider by the way).
