I have purchased random items here once before but have been wanting to try their byrek or burek or pita. No matter what you call it or how you spell it, this is delicious. I have eaten it in several Balkan countries and this is excellent quality and fresh made. I called in the morning and ordered a whole meat pie to share with my neighbors. It was phenomenal! I do not know if anywhere else in CT that makes it fresh and from scratch. They meat and onion filling was perfection! I can’t wait to have it again. They also offer cheese and a spinach and cheese version.
You can also buy it by the slice, but after you try it, you might want to have another!

Sara and Daniel are the best new business owners!! They make the environment feel so warm and welcoming! The burek and tres leches cake are the best I’ve come by in my lifetime. No other European market around CT does it like them!! THE BEST!!
I feel like many places go cheap on the fillings. Also many of them don't seem to get the flavor of the meat correct. Not here. The portions are on point and so is the flavor in the meat. 👌
