I put some of doll clothes in the gift shop. Some are colonial and some are modern. The director is super nice and the house is very clean. Highly recommend a tour here if you are able.

Early American Home of famous person age from Derby Connecticut General David Humphreys... Home has had a neighborhood grow up around it, it's kind of lost in the middle of all of that... But a pleasant place to visit, terrific stock... If you are a follower of American history, in particular American Revolutionary War history, you may want to take a look

Love this place! I loose myself in the history here. You are quickly taken back to 1762 as soon as you step in!

The cub scouts had a great time there. We learned about early American living, we learned to weave and spin. The educators were great and they were dressed in period attire. We also learned a little local history. At the end of the educational event, we ate the most delicious apple cake and apple juice.
They have a cute gift shop with some small toys, recipe books and some handmade items.
