The Jim Scianna trio and his duet has performed many times at Ridgefield Crossings benchmark assisted living community with great success!
The high level of professional musicianship and quality of programs presented have always been outstanding and a big hit with my residents, who always ask me to have Jim back.
I want to highlight his Themed Concerts with acoustic bass and piano. His last themed concert performance featured songs made popular by Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald which also
included an educational and engaging narrative.

The Jim Scianna trio was absolutely fantastic. My wife and I had Jim and his trio play at our wedding during cocktail hour, and we could not have been happier with their service! The guests loved the trios performance, it created an ambience that made the evening memorable and set the night up for success. I’ve received numerous compliments from our guests on their performance, highlighting their exceptional playing. Their choice of repertoire was elegant and appropriate, and they even played a few songs we had requested upon our arrival to the event which was very special. For our 50th wedding anniversary party, we were looking for a live band that would be entertaining but not overwhelming. So many events we have attended over the last few years had DJ’s blasting music so loudly you could not talk to the folks sitting at your own table. We wanted the guests at our party to enjoy the music but still be able to talk to each other. The Jim Scianna Trio fit the bill perfectly. In the months leading up to the party, Jim contacted us several times to go over the music we wanted him to play. Jim and his fellow musicians are very talented. For five hours they played the music we requested at just the right volume. So many guests came back to us telling us how wonderful the band was.
