Mike Albert is an outstanding realtor and truly one of the best I have ever worked with. From the very beginning, he clearly explained the process and made everything easy to understand. Even though I reached out to him almost daily, he was always patient and quick to respond. Everything he told me from the start happened just as he said, and he went above and beyond our expectations.

In April 2025, I was appointed administrator of my brother's estate which went through probate. In addition I live outside of CT. and do not have relationships with trades people. Michael was great to work with. He was professional and responsive to my questions and concerns. Michael was able to walk me through aspects of selling a home and in dealing with the courts regarding probate. He also provided me referrals in CT with regards to making the house market ready. The house was sold very quickly and above the listing price. I would highly recommend him to anyone buying or selling a home in CT.

Please kindly ignore the negative review by Connor McMullan, my ex-husband. This broker (Mike) saw Connor’s review and asked me to set the record straight.

1) Yes, it is true that the house sold for $50k less than what Mike anticipated mid-summer. That's because Connor squatted in the house for four months without cleaning it out, causing us to miss the lucrative summer market and sell in deep winter. This was not Mike’s fault.

(The winter sale price was still a win -- $25k higher than what the first broker we interviewed that summer had suggested. It was very fortunate that we went with Mike.)

2) No, Mike did not share “confidential divorce information” with me. Rather, Connor sent the broker a series of explicit and abusive text messages about price reductions. Abusive texts are never confidential. Mike responded firmly and sent a text message alerting me to the problem/solution. There were zero privacy violations. It was picture-perfect professionalism in a tricky situation.

3) It is true that some of our potential buyers missed their appointments to see the house. I’m not sure why my ex is calling this “dodgy” or why he video-monitored the sales visits. Nothing unusual happened there.

The reality is, Mike did an excellent job. Working with him was like outsourcing the entire sales process. I did nothing to make it happen (besides e-sign a few documents and clear out the mess my ex left behind when he moved out).

Impressively, the house sold for $25k more than our original quote, despite the seasonal disadvantage. I am very grateful, and would highly recommend working with him. Five stars!

Mike is the best real estate professional we have ever met. He listens to you, understands what you're looking for, and truly cares, always looking out for your best interests, not his own. He offers great advice and makes the whole process incredibly simple. You feel supported throughout. After our wonderful experience the first time, we didn’t hesitate for a second to call him again when we needed a realtor. Without a doubt, I recommend him 100%.

If you want the best in the business then you most certainly have to go with Mike! He is very proactive from day one of the search. Just give Mike the details of what your are looking for and will find it. Never missed an appt, always gave the most straight forward honest feedback.
