LOVE this place! Perfect spot to buy delicious and quality cheeses for my wine bar. Cheeses are local and fresh. Staff is great and knowledgeable and the owners are just amazing! You NEED to go check them out.

I finally got to try this cheese shop. The shop is located in Oakville, CT. It is also a seafood store so the smell is a little strong when you first open the door. It's clearly very fresh seafood. But once you are inside it passes. It was a cheese heaven 😍 We got to taste a few of the cheeses. The two staff people were really friendly and knowledgeable. Cuchillos was really nice. He explained the cheeses I was trying. He was patient with us while we made up our minds. He told us the story behind the owners a sweet love story. You don't hear many of those anymore. I left with 3 of the cheeses I tried. We definitely will go back. The cheese selection is local. It does change. If you're a cheese lover 🧀 this is a must stop for you. We didn't get any seafood although the 🦀 cakes were calling our names. Next trip that will be a must. The seafood did look really good. Oh Cuchillos also owns a knife 🔪 sharpening business down the hall from the cheese shop. This is a must for any cheese lover.

You.must.experience.THIS.cheese and seafood shop! Just enough variety. The store is adorable. The background and intel on what you’re buying is thoughtfully explained. We happened to meet Kate by chance at the farmers market in Washington while visiting the area. And had to also stop in to their brick and mortar store a few towns over. Her and her hubby are such warm, hospitable and all together lovely humans. We cannot wait to not only come back but to buy some of their gift baskets and have them delivered to our home.

I guarantee you will always walk out of here with a smile on your face, the owners are some of the nicest and down to earth people. They always give Great advice on what to do with the fish or cheese that they sell. It’s always fresh off the boat Highest quality product you can get in a 100 mile radius. There is No other store like it.
P.S there sandwiches are off the charts, so if you see some on the counter, definitely grab yourself one

Such an amazing little place! The owners are incredibly knowledgeable, and helped us find the most delicious cheeses. They had incredible bread from a local baker so it was the perfect one stop shop. We also picked up the freshest monk fish and some pro tips for how to make it. I cannot recommend this place enough!
