It started off good, but it soon changed when our nurse went to a new job. Our family was then sent 2 other nurses, with neither being able to read. One wasn't going to give my sister a medication (pain meds) because it hasn't been refilled in 2 months. It hadn't been refilled because it was not due to be refilled, it was a 3 month supply. Then felt attacked when called out on her error.
The next poured double of a medication that was discontinued due to replacing that medication with a new medication to replace it. Also she didn't pour two medications one for their diabetes the other for asthma, but she signed the med sheet that she had poured them and poured the meds that was discontinued. Again a nurse not reading orders.
So if your choice is nurses who doesn't read your medication bottles, leave a week without your needed meds and signs documents saying that orders were filled but they weren't, this is your agency. Otherwise keep on searching.
