While the young lady I spoke with today was helpful, my overall experience was extremely unacceptable, which is why I am providing a two-star rating for what would otherwise be a one-star experience. I miss the small mom and pop place.
My primary concern is the severe lack of communication regarding my order. Six weeks ago, I was informed that the wait time would be 2-3 weeks and that I would receive a call once my shirts arrived. After waiting four weeks, I called and learned that the shirt had arrived but was awaiting a patch to be sewn. I specifically re-confirmed that I would be contacted once the order was complete to avoid having to constantly follow up.
It has now been six weeks, and I called again today, only to be told that the shirt (singular) was ready for pickup. I ordered more than one! There was no communication at any point. Furthermore, if there are items on back order, it is a basic professional courtesy to inform the customer. This oversight demonstrates poor business practice and possible lazy employees.
Upon picking up my shirt (singular), I noticed that the bag was clearly marked with my first and last name, phone number, order date, and the word "PAID." This raises a critical question: would I have received a phone call if the item had not been paid for in advance? I find it unacceptable to hear excuses regarding forgotten calls, incorrect phone numbers, or lack of awareness that the item was ready.
You had no issue taking my payment immediately upon ordering. However, it appears that once payment is received, the level of care and communication drastically declines. This is incredibly poor customer service and will eventually catch up with your business.
My name is Norm Shamy Chief of the Highland Park Fire Dept. Action Uniform in Matawan came through for me BIG time. I ordered a new dress uniform a while ago & was promised it would be here for Memorial Day. Not only was it here for Memorial Day but it was PERFECT!!! From the hat to the badges. The measurements were spot on!!! Thank you guys sooo much for making this Memorial Day a success for us. You guys ROCK!!!!!
Wow, there are not enough words in the English dictionary to explain the awesomeness, the amazing incredibly professional, caring people of Action Uiform. I have dealt with Keith and also Steve , They were very accountable they rectified my problem immediately they were extremely generous and kind, and just truly an absolute pleasure to deal with. Action Uniform treated me with respect and as if I was a much valued family member. I placed a second order on Friday afternoon. It was at my house by Saturday evening. I am very grateful and thankful and will be a forever customer because of the service that was provided to me and my family..
My time spent at Action Uniform store in Matawan was incredible. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My wait time was perfect. I highly recommend this uniform store. I will most definitely be back! It was worth the drive 😊
