Absolutely amazing. Since September I cut weight, gained confidence and just got my yellow belt with my 11yr old son today! What can be any better than that?
I enjoy the insane intensity of this karate place. I love the positive energy and the great workout that I get from this. I would definitely recommend this place to people who want to get in shape and want their kids to be able to defend themselves. This environment is filled with positivity and kindness and also discipline. I love it here.
The owner of this establishment is awesome! His service is amazing, and he is very nice to the locals. He goes out of his way to sponsor the local schools and fundraising, and he is happy to do so. His business is amazing and if you’re looking for a great karate place, definitely come here!
A well needed refresher on being aware of your surrounding. Always being alert. As an adult and a female, Steve’s teaching instilled a bit of confidence, to protect yourself from this crazy world of today. No judgement, worked with each of us to reach beyond what we thought our ability was. Nothing boring about this class, from the fellow students to the diversity of defense moves, to the expertise and patience of Steve’s teaching, learning what to do and what not to do.
The things most important to me when searching for the best karate school for my son were safety, discipline, and fun. American Phoenix Karate checked all these boxes. The owner does a great job with kids, and my son is excited to go to classes every week.
