Great Night, But the Manager Brought the Mood Down

I had an overall wonderful night. The atmosphere was lively thanks to the varied music, and the quality of the food/drinks was genuinely impressive. The bartender, Marie went above and beyond to make sure my party was well taken care of, and her positive attitude really stood out.

Unfortunately, the only downside was the manager on duty. While the rest of the team was welcoming and professional, the manager, Selly came across as dismissive and wanting to end the night prematurely. It created an awkward moment that didn’t match the otherwise fantastic service we received. It didn’t ruin the night, but it definitely left a noticeable mark on the experience.

I’d still recommend visiting because the staff and environment are great.

Off the beaten path, this eatery has good comfort food and huge portions that never disappoint. It offers Interesting cocktails and atttentive staff. A definitive option for Maplewoodians and adjacent neighbors.

My first time coming and will be back! I came with my sister for lunch and was greeted as soon as we walked in. We were told we can find a table. After sitting our waiter Ralph, took our order. The place is nice and a great atmosphere. We order nachos for appetizers and burger with fries. Food came out in a timely manner. We were just finishing our nachos when the burgers were delivered. The fries were crispy and hot and the burger was amazing. If your in the Maplewood area you should definitely give them a try.

The team did a great job accommodating us. We came in a bit late, close to the kitchen closing time and everyone at the Avenue Pub made our evening delicious and satisfying. Very nice ambience + various events on the calendar. Enjoy! 😉👍

Staff is very friendly. Food was very very good - we had the chicken savoy and a burger and both were very impressive. Had pizza and mozzarella sticks next visit. Loved them too and happy to have a new spot in Maplewood to watch the games.
