Mama Sher's Caribbean Cuisine

I was craving Jamican food, and this was the closest one available, so I was like let me give them a try 😑 I ordered the oxtail, rice and Peas with Mac and cheese... waited 1hr, wasn't too bothered because I was thinking that yes my food is going to be hot and fresh(WRONG!) The rice was SALTY and I don't think that was oxtail because it lost all of its flavor. I honestly think that they had the food in their freezer and then warm it up when the customer order it. I didn't like it at all and Iam so disappointed.

I was in the mood for curry shrimp and decided to try this location. I called in my order of the curry shrimp with rice and peas and cabbage. They said it would take 45 minutes because it is made to order. When I arrived I found parking on the street and walked in. The nice man came out and the food wasn't ready yet. I waited another 20 minutes or so. When it was done I paid about $19 for the small and left. When I got home I dug in and the food was very good. There was plenty of food as well. The experience I had was good and I would return.

The goat curry and chicken curry were soooo good! The jerk chicken wings were yummy as well. The portion sizes were excellent and definitely worth the money. I took a star away because I wasn't crazy about the oxtails or the wait time. They gave us the flat round pieces none were exceptionally large, nor seasoned as well as the curry but there was a good amount for the large order. The wait time was definitely long but when I finally got to taste the food I wasn't disappointed at all!
