Kathy is an amazing bartender and server! She took great care of us. Kathy was super friendly, attentive, and clearly knows her craft. The margaritas were on point, the music was great, and the whole vibe of the place was perfect.

Huge shout-out to Joey as well for keeping the energy up and making the experience even better. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

This spot is an absolute gem! Kathy is an incredible bartender and server- friendly, attentive and genuinely great at what she does. She makes the best margaritas around and all drinks were consistently great all around. The vibes were immaculate, the music was on point and the whole atmosphere just made for an amazing time. I celebrated my 25th birthday at this bar, and it was perfect from start to finish. We rented it out as an open bar for a Saturday night, and both my friends and family had an awesome time. The food was great, the drinks were on point, and the overall atmosphere was exactly what you want for a celebration.
The staff and owner were incredibly helpful throughout the planning and the night itself—they made everything easy. After our party officially wrapped up, a DJ arrived and many of us stayed to keep the fun going. And as a bonus, the bar was already decorated for Christmas, which made the space feel extra cozy and festive. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I just went for the first time recently and had the best time. Staff was extremely friendly and the drinks were super affordable. Kat and Andrea helped me and my friend group by letting us know about current specials and fan favorites among the crowd. They were super bubbly and personable. The margaritas were delicious and paired with great food. Will definitely be coming back!
Side note: the bathroom is super cute!!

Barrel & Brew is not what you would expect by the name nor location. At first you think it would serve pub food but no señor! It’s delicious Latin food! Portions were not large but certainly enough. Something to keep in mind if you want to share. Cocktails were good yet limited menu with majority of the cocktails with the same main spirit and garnish.
Decor is industrial but not cold. The menu display on the Televisions was odd and sort of cheapens the ambiance of the nice coffered ceiling and rich warm woods. There was an Edison bulb out over the bar which made me wonder about attention to detail. A great feature to this restaurant is that they have special nights with live entertainment and DJ.
As for the service, opportunity is in our initial server which felt a bit cold and not engaged. However this was quickly recovered by the other team members serving us.
All in all, a fair place for a little something out of the norm in New Milford.
