Very sweet and professional staff
First time coming here. It was a great experience. Nervous but the nurses were discreet and quick. The friendliness made everything less nerve-wracking.
This happened about 4 years ago but I feel the need to share my experience.
I came here bc at the time I didn't have health insurance. I knew I had BV and I needed antibiotics for it.
When I was here I got tested for everything bc why not? Even tho I been in a monogamous relationship for 10 yrs, couldn't hurt. The gyno was the last person I had to see. Up until this point the staff had been very kind and professional. Which is why I gave the place an additional star. The gyno was an older gentleman, like senior citizen old. He came in and shook my hand and talked to me about why I was in there. It was kind of uncomfortable shaking someone's hand with no pants on but I understand he's old school and didn't pay it much mind. Here's where the problem happens it came time to take a swab to check for the BV. While doing this it hurt... a lot. I verbally expressed my discomfort and he didn't let up. I've been threw this dozens of times and it never hurt like that. Afterwards he pressed his fingers inside (sorry idk what this procedure is called) I know this is routine but again he was rough and I was physically uncomfortable. After feeling violated I took my antibiotics and left feeling uncomfortable and disrespected since I communicated that he was hurting me and he didn't seem to care. I get this is free clinic but old guy needs to go if he hasn't already.
Other than that it's fine. I should mention I was here another time prior to that experience for the same reason, had a woman gyno and it was a normal pain free experience.
Went there for HIV and STD testing. The staff there is absolutely amazing. They're really friendly and made me feel comfortable. Very professional and work quickly. I had alot of questions and they answered every single one of them. I 110% recommend this place.
Quick in and out, but still work efficiently. Get in early, cuz a free clinic creates a long line
