Buzzing Bees Academy

My child attended Buzzing Bees for just over a year. Vija and her staff are warm, communicative and creative - they truly care about their students. My child thrived during their time at Buzzing Bees - he loved telling me about his day and made so many friends in the classroom! The curriculum also had a great balance of academics and playtime, and they spent so much time outside. I highly recommend Buzzing Bees to any prospective parents and students!

There are not enough great things to say about buzzing bees! My son was there up until he started public school, and he truly thrived under the care of buzzing bees. Between the warm environment, the incredible staff, the loving atmosphere, and the great curriculum (mixed with play, creativity, field trips, activities, outdoor time, & hands on learning), my son was truly happy there (and so were we). It was so bittersweet when it was my son’s time to leave but we are lucky as my younger child is now getting ready to start there in August! The director and teachers are so lovely and the classrooms are clean, organized, and it’s just a wonderful community to be a part of! Definitely consider BB as they truly are a second family.

My son went to Academy from 2.5-3.5 and we had a wonderful experience. The teachers were sweet, nurturing and created an environment that encouraged learning and independence. We love Buzzing Bees and would encourage anyone else to go!

When my son started off at Buzzing Bees as we were coming out of covid lockdown and as a result he had a speech delay. 6 months of private speech therapy did nothing for him but the wonderful teachers at Buzzing Bees worked with him and got him speaking. They were very patient and kind.
Be assured if your child attends Buzzing Bees they will be nurtured and well cared for.

Our child attended Buzzing Bees for over a year and it was great experience for our family. The teachers are awesome, our child actually looked forward to going to school every morning. What we really liked about Buzzing Bees was that they seem to have found an ideal mix of play time and “academics”. We felt other centers we visited were either too classroom-focused, or were just a place for your kid to go play in for a few hours. Buzzing Bees seems to have found the ideal balance between the two. We also enjoyed the fact kids were outdoors quite often. If you’re looking for a pre-school in SOMA, I highly recommend Buzzing Bees!
