The best. At least, it’s SO much better than the first place I patronized, years ago on another coast, and far more personalized an experience than my friends report from a certain big-box buying club. I love my new devices and look forward to the next regularly scheduled free-of-charge service appointment.

I have to admit I did not shop around for hearing aids, I relied on the advice of a good friend with hearing aids who happens to be a retired ENT. I am so glad I trusted his professional expertise as I can’t say enough about my positive experience with Coastal Audiology and Precision Hearing. I found everyone there so pleasant and professional, but especially Brian Herb the hearing aid specialist. I absolutely never felt like I was being sold and he was more than generous with his time and expertise. And I feel like his knowledge is quite extensive and intuitive because he set my hearing aids pretty much perfectly upon delivery. His brand and model recommendation was right on for my needs and I have been happy with them from the first hour I owned them. I did not opt for the least expensive model and I’m very happy about that as the sound is extremely natural. Some of what you pay for is follow up service and in my opinion it is well worth it to have an expert handle adjustments and answer questions. While I appreciate that you can purchase aids more inexpensively if you can afford not to, I would highly suggest using an experienced expert like Brian Herb. And when I compared the price for my model online his price was more that competitive.

While I have limited experience with any other audiology specialists, I will gladly travel 50-60 minutes to get the friendly and thoroughly careful service I have received at Coastal Audiology. Chip and his staff decipher the technical mysteries of hearing correction with state-of-the-art products and assessment equipment, all while maintaining an appropriate focus on your own goals and life quality.
These people and their operation are worthy of six stars...
