Donovans Bar & Restaurant & Grill

Visited here for the first time yesterday and think I found a new lunch spot. The early bird menu is priced great and the food very good to boot. Lot's to chose from to keep it mixed up. Looking forward to the next visit!

My parents moved recently and had come to Donovans a couple of times, so when we came up to visit, they had suggested coming here for dinner. We came on a Friday night, so it was a little busy. We were told it was going to be 15 minutes for a table. While we were waiting, we were given popcorn. The people working were incredible and got us a table after only a few minutes. We were seated and our server, Angela, apologized for the wait. During our time, she was very attentive and helpful. I ordered the classic cheeseburger with cheddar cheese, and my sister got the penne ala vodka. I asked for my burger to be cooked medium, and it was. I liked the french fries because they were very crispy. The burger was cooked exactly to my liking and tasted great. The penne ala vodka was nice, the sauce was lighter in flavor than we are used to but it was not bad. The prices are very reasonable for a dine-in place that has a robust atmosphere. The quality and portions were great, too. I would definitely come back!

This restaurant is very well know in the area I live in Manchester the staff always greets you with a smile I have complemented the manager many time how excellent the service was as soon as you are seated they will serve you a bowl of hot popcorn and ask what drinks you will like.Today I did go with my family we did order the crispy Buffalo chicken with fries a pickle and the best coleslaw for 11.99 very well priced the server was left more than 20% five stars is not enough keep up the excellent customer service all of the tables were sold out that says it all in my book you have a customer for life Thanks Glen.
Update went last night 121/22 the service was excellent the beer was cold and the food was excellent my dad did order the Guinness burger my god it was like a foot ball he did take it down keep up the amazing service 5 stars is not enough.

Our family have loved coming to this place for years. Service always good. A great selection of menu choices and you can't beat the Early Bird specials! Food has always been consistently tasty! Try the pot roast with baked potato! Such a wonderful little neighborhood bar and grill! Love watching all the sports on the many TVs too! Their popcorn to snack on is always a welcome treat!

Large bar/grill inside. Staff were very nice. The popcorn was nicely salted and buttered. We ordered a steak slider appetizer which lacked in flavor. We then ordered a Texas burger and a grilled chicken with mozzarella cheese. They were both good, but the fries came out cold and overdone. I will give it another try in hopes that it improves.
