Toast Cafe absolutely knocked it out of the park for our Sheva Brochos!
We hosted the entire event there (about 40 guests) and from start to finish everything was top-notch. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious—everyone raved about the salmon especially. Portion sizes were generous and everything was perfectly seasoned.
The staff was warm, professional, and genuinely excited to be part of our simcha. Service throughout the night was seamless, and the manager personally checked in multiple times to make sure we had everything that we needed.
The space itself is clean, modern, and felt perfect for an family Sheva Brochos—elegant but not stuffy. Pricing was very fair for the quality and service we received.
Highly recommend Toast Cafe for private events, especially in the frum community. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you for helping make our Sheva Brochos so special!
Will definitely be back for brunch too 😊
Had 2 Sheva Brachos here within 1 week and was an awesome experience, great food, awesome service, Geshmak vibes and ambiance, overall 2 great experiences, definitely recommend for your Simchos!!
Keep it up!!!
Delicious upscale café in the heart of Manchester. Great place to go if your looking for a quiet bite. I got the personal pie, for $13.99 which was delicious! It has a more mature taste than your average pizza. I also got the Pizza toast ($16.99) which was phenomenal. It did take some time but it was well worth it.
The last half a year, I have been hearing a lot about a new dairy place in Manchester, NJ near Lakewood. I decided this week was the time to check it out. While I though Manchester was like a 20 min drive, it was actually just under 10 min from my house. Its located in a nice plaza with plenty of parking. The establishment itself is brand new on the inside, modern design, LED lighting and most importantly spacious and air conditioned. The manager/owner/chef Yehuda is usually at the front register. He was very welcoming and told us to order and find a seat. It wasn't long before the first dishes started to arrive.
While this week was exceptionally hot and humid, with the air on I actually was comfortable enough to order their chunky vegetable soup. I happen to love soup, though I rarely order it in a restaurant. This soup had so much flavor and depth. Yehuda told us that there were no preservatives and its made fresh in house. I honestly told him to approach several of the wedding halls in the vicinity and offer them his soup since it was so much better then your average wedding fair. I paired that with some mozzarella triangles which came with some piping hot house marinara. First off they were quite crispy the way they should be, with a crunch. Gooey melty cheesy on the inside and that sauce... wow! The perfect bite!
Next we moved onto some drinks. We got three. The Peanut Butter Cup milkshake, a Ferrero Milkshake and a Lotus milkshake. Each was unique and refreshing and quite flavorful. I have to say my favorite was the Ferrero. It was time to eat some food.
We got three dishes. First was the Vodka Pizza. I know, I know, it sounds weird. Vodka Penne ON a pie of pizza. It might have been a little messy to eat, but the flavors were spot on! I highly recommend! Then we got the regular Penne A La Vodka, kinda like a staple you need to try in any dairy restaurant. It was really good. We got a order of the fettuccine Alfredo which I don't usually get, but I wanted to try. I don't like cheese heavy dishes, but this was really creamy and with perfectly cooked pasta. Lastly another dish that is a staple, Shakshuka with fresh sourdough bread. Its amazing how many places make the same dish but the each add something unique that makes their version different. I tasted the cumin immediately. It was hot and delicious. We even took some leftover for the next day.
All in all, I highly reccomend, you will be pleasantly surprised. They open at 8:30am and close I think about 4:30 so its not a dinner place. On the other hand if you are making a bris or want a nice classy modern place for a sheva brochos with amazing food, call Toast today!
Really good food, very fresh. Original menu items. Friendly staff. Good Service. Very clean. Checks all boxes. Definitely will travel in again from Lakewood. A must try.
