If I could give Dr. Shea 20 stars, I would! She truly saved my life. After being ill for months, with drastic weight loss, vomiting and repeated ER visits at Newton and Chilton with no answers, I was referred to Dr. Shea by the equally amazing Dr. Michael Lindy. During my 2nd visit, Dr. Shea immediately recognized the severity of my condition and called an ambulance to take me directly from her office to the hospital. That trip saved my life. I was experiencing a life-threatening Thyroid Storm, which had been missed by numerous doctors during my countless ER visits over six months. Dr. Shea’s dedication and persistence led the ER team to look deeper into my symptoms, and I will be forever grateful to her and her staff.
