A sneaker store, of all places, recommended Dr Alster! They were so right! Her office staff is friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Dr Alster is a kind, compassionate and highly skilled surgeon. I arrived at her doorstep with a ganglion cyst and she not only removed it, but also diagnosed and treated 3 other issues in the same toe! She explained very clearly,in terms I could understand, the problems, the solutions and the recovery. Surgery went as planned, recovery is well on its way! Her office is clean, calming and runs like a well oiled machine. Appts are on time...negligible wait time, and easy to obtain.
I had an ankle injury and Dr. Alster flat out told me she didn't want to do this type surgery because it's an invasive surgery and the recovery is worse. We waited months as I was in a boot/cast and we couldn't see anything on x-ray or MRI. Finally, she had to go in to see what was going on. Thank God she did! I had a tear that would've never been seen on any scans. She was right about all the above, yes it hurt, recovery was painful but I don't have any pain at all. I would highly recommend Dr. Alster to anyone having for issues.
By far the best foot doctor I have been to. I recently had a procedure done that I have done 2 other time by 2 different foot doctors. My experience with Dr. Alster was by far the best. Her office is wonderful. She has a natural calming bedside manner. I felt at ease the whole time. I never felt any pain from start to finish. She gave me clear and detailed instructions for after care. I will definitely be using Dr. Alster for all my foot care needs.
Dr. Alster has changed the quality of my life. She treated a foot ulcer that was treated in a wound center for over 2 years. In a matter of weeks the ulcer healed. The entire office staff treats every patient as if you were part of the family. My entire family uses Dr. Alster for our needs. She is truly a miracle worker and I highly recommend her.
