Dr. Pauline Bergstein

I have been going to Dr. Bergstein for trauma therapy for almost 2 years now. I spent months trying to find a trustworthy, intelligent and experienced trauma therapist to help me with my CPSTD. I am SO GRATEFUL I found Dr. Bergstein. She is passionate and deeply committed to her work with trauma survivors and incorporates the latest research on trauma and dissociation into her practice . Working with her has helped me in ways I thought were not possible. She is patient centered and takes the time to listen and be thoughtful in her responses. She has truly been focused on helping me heal. Not all therapists are. I have been to more bad ones than good ones. She’s a good one! I highly recommend her for any difficult situation you are struggling with.

I had the privilege of working with Pauline for about 7 years, and our work together completely transformed the trajectory of my life. At my sickest point, Pauline supported me in facing and overcoming my illness with compassion, validation, education, and clarity. She helped me recognize the forces in my life that were negatively affecting me, and guided me towards developing a perspective that allowed me to both heal and advocate for my own needs. It’s been years since I’ve seen Pauline, but I was thinking about her recently and googled to see if she still worked in the area. She helped me years ago in so many ways, I have been to many psychologists throughout my life and she was by far the greatest. She never judged me and always made me feel comfortable. Pauline is so sweet and genuinely cares about your wellbeing.
