I had a new patient visit when my dr’s practice closed. I booked it to see a DOCTOR but after waiting 30 minutes beyond my appt time (with an empty waiting room) in walked a nurse practitioner who went through my prescriptions and said they cannot fill any of them. I asked if I could see a doctor and she said “maybe next time” I said I booked the appt to see a DOCTOR as it was my first ever visit. She said I would need to go see an endocrinologist, gastroenterologist and a nutritionist. Last time I checked a nutritionist can’t write scripts.
She was dismissive and condescending.
Trying to get my scripts filled has been beyond annoying considering I had to see a plethora of specialists. What is the point of seeing a PCP if they cannot treat you for anything other than a cold?
We have been patients since they opened, the doctors are dedicated to their patients, they always take the time to discuss any issues you may be having. The doctor calls himself calls with test results. Staff is outstanding. I see how some gave a bad review because they weren't taking new patients, that's uncalled for. Best GP I've ever had!
