Fire Pit Grill

Although the atmosphere is mostly for take out, our family ate at the restaurant. Our family had a great time, the food was excellent. We had everything from chicken to ribs, rice and beans, plantains and yuca fries. The servings are more than generous and the owner is a great and devoted person. I would definitely recommend Fire Pit Grill that enjoys authentic Spanish food.

Fish tacos got the 4 stars
Ribeyes got 3- flavorful, cooked perfectly, nice char but very tough

Server was in training but very good, attentive without hovering

Trivia night bar crowd but not rowdy

Espresso martinis were powerful and well made, presentation made them inviting

Nice clean spot. Have been here before and will return, maybe not for the ribeye though :)

Absolutely delicious!! Large portions and an extremely awesome owner and service. Small but very warm, and personal vibe. If you want to go somewhere with quality latin food, without the glamour, check this place out ! Highly recommended

Let me start off by saying the food is authentic and does taste really good. It feels like a well done home cooked meal and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am only giving 4/5 starts because of a number of other issues. There is very minimal dinning space is in no way set up for groups over 4 people. Also, if you do intent to come with a number of people, call ahead of time. They seem to be low staffed and it took a decent amount of time for us to receive our food. There is also parts of the restaurant that could be cleaned up or renovated. My chairs back was broken and popping on an off. At the end of the day, nothing major but customers will definitely get a much better impression if they are mindful of these things and update them.

Hands down one of the tastiest restaurants in New Jersey! The owner, Steve, is also the nicest and so hard working! (Plus he cooks GREAT!) We love coming here and ordering out, we do both very frequently as a family.
