My aunt was just discharged from the hospital and overwhelmed by the all the medication changes. She called and talked to Kelly who spent time on the phone, reviewing all her medications, setting up a hospital follow-up appointment with Dr. Genovese and actually telling her when with the cardiologist and pulmonologist wanted my aunt to schedule follow-up appointments based on what Kelly read on the discharge paperwork. Kelly really went above and beyond. My aunt was instantly put at ease. This is hard to come by these days. My husband called his urologist for 4 consecutive days after being in the hospital for kidney stones and only got their voicemail. This was Dr. Strobel's old office and Dr. Genovese is running the office just the way he did back in the 1980s. It's a small office- just the doctor and Kelly, but they are extremely thorough and caring.
Great experience! Called at 9am for a sick appointment. Got in right away. Kelly, the medical assistant was very nice and helpful. Dr. Genovese explained the diagnosis and the treatment plan. She gave me realistic expectations and a timeline for recovery. I would recommend the practice! Although small, the doctor is thorough and takes her time. Kelly was very friendly.
Love the Doctor. Can’t stand her office help. The worst. So rude and condescending. They won’t even let you talk to her to complain about the them. I’m currently looking for a new dr which is disconcerting to say the least considering we love the Dr.
I have been seeing Dr. Genovese for over a year now and she is the BEST!! I have never been so pleased with a primary care doctor; she really listens and shows she cares. I feel less anxious on a daily basis knowing that I have such a caring and intelligent doctor on my team. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. 100/10 recommend!
