I recently worked with Chuck from Ghirardi Construction, I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, everything went smoothly with absolutely no hiccups. Chuck was professional, reliable, and incredibly detail-oriented. The entire project not only met my expectations but truly exceeded them.

It’s rare to find someone who delivers this level of quality and consistency. I’m beyond happy with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to hire Chuck again or recommend him to anyone looking for top-notch work!

We recently completed a kitchen and bathroom renovation, and we couldn’t be happier with the work done by Ghirardi Construction! From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, well-organized, and completed on time.

Communication was top-notch—Chuck visited the site almost daily, kept us updated through texts and calls, and provided feedback on our choices, helping us stay on track with decisions. His crew was punctual, professional, and kept their workspace clean and ensured minimal disruption throughout the process..

Despite being out of the country for a few weeks during the project, Chuck ensured everything stayed on schedule. The renovation was completed in under two months, and the results are amazing!

We will definitely be reaching out to Chuck again for future projects.

Chuck Ghirardi just recently completed a two-story addition, first floor remodel, and wraparound porch for our home and we are beyond happy with the final product and process overall. He came highly recommended from friends in our neighborhood and from the beginning, it became quickly evident why.

His quote was very competitive, extremely detailed, and fully transparent. My wife and I were anxious about embarking on such a large and complex project but from the moment we signed, Chuck took control of the process. Pre-construction, he was instrumental in helping us navigate the town’s zoning and building departments (which was difficult at times) and obtaining the needed permits. Once issued, he began work almost immediately, and had his crews working nearly every day to ensure he would deliver as promised. Rarely a day went by where my wife and I didn’t receive a message from a neighbor or stranger with rave reviews about the craftsmanship, professionalism, and efficiency of Chuck and his crews.

It’s refreshing to partner with a true professional like Chuck. Beyond his skills as a craftsman, he’s a genuine person that always made himself available to listen and comment on our sometimes off-the-wall requests, provide honest feedback when we needed to hear it, and follow-up with his team on any of our requests/concerns (including now after the project has been paid and complete). On top of all that, he’s always mindful of budget – not once during the process did we feel as though we encountered any truly unexpected expenses that weren’t discussed upfront.

Chuck took so much of the stress out the process and we’re tremendously grateful for the experience and the house that he’s created for our family. If you have a project in mind, we have little doubt you’ll have any regrets about working with him and his team.

My wife and I recently put an addition on our house and Ghirardi Construction went above and beyond to make our experience a great one. I don’t even know where to begin. Our Architect, Vince Cappobianco, worked extremely well with Chuck Ghirardi, to design exactly the addition that we were looking for. The town of Wayne’s zoning department was extremely difficult to work with and Vince/Chuck helped us get through it. If you are starting at square 1, I recommend talking to both Vince and Chuck when getting quotes. You will feel a level of comfort.

So right from the beginning, Chuck Ghirardi lays everything out in front of you and explains everything if you have questions. There were no surprises. Actually, what surprised us most was how much Chuck was trying to save us money. Sometimes we felt that it was his money going into our addition and not ours! We were very grateful for that.

Here is where we appreciate Chuck more than he knows. We are a family of 5 and our 8 year old son has autism. He has NEVER slept in a room/bed other than the one he currently sleeps in. Moving out of our house would have put a huge amount of stress on our family and our son. The other contractors (who were more expensive than Chuck) that we spoke to said that we had to move out. Chuck was the only one that said that we could live in the house and that he would spend extra time each day making the house safe for us to come back to. And he did just that. Our son never spent a single night outside of his bed.

Now let’s get to efficiency. Chuck told us 4-6 months to complete the addition. We were in absolute amazement on how quickly things got done. Our neighbors kept saying it too. There were crews at our house every day and things got done. Not only that, the crews were so amazing. They were so nice and so respectful. There was never any problems.

I highly recommend that you bring in Ghirardi Construction for a quote if you are looking to do work on your house. It was a great experience for us.

We used Chuck for a kitchen, front porch, garage, laundry room addition and first floor remodel. We called Chuck in for a quote in November 2020 and by September 2021 we were writing him our last check. The planning process is intense when doing an addition especially when you need a variance as was our case. Chuck came out to our home to meet us and give us some ideas. He has a designer/architect (Vince) who we used and loved. Between Chuck, Vince, my husband and myself we came up with a beautiful design for our home. Vince was timely, friendly, and truly helpful in getting us through all of our variance paperwork. Chuck gave us a reasonable quote and we decided to go with him. The variance and design process took the longest only because we had to wait on the towns meeting availability. We made it through the process in April and were cleared for permits at the end of May.

Chuck started with us on June 12, 2021 and by September, we were done. Our contract stated that he would be done in four months. He did it in about 2.5 months and said that he had planned to be done two weeks sooner had two really rainy weeks in the beginning not slowed him down. Chuck does not let any grass grow under his feet. All those additions you see that take forever, yeaa.... those people are not using Charles Ghirardi. He works fast, but well, and he stays on top of his crews. In the three months that it took to remodel my home, there was ALWAYS someone at my home working.

I feel it important to say that Chuck also dealt with my father-in-law, who lives around the block from us and was a union carpenter for 40+ years watching his every move. But Chuck must've done something right because my in laws are now using him for a fairly large addition as well.

Chuck's an honest guy. Any issues (they were few) that we had, Chuck addressed immediately. Never once did I feel like I was being nickel and dimed. In fact, when Chuck ordered our lumber, it was at the absolute height of this volatile market. It ended up costing us a pretty penny that no one could foresee. He was great at letting us remove things from our contract to make up for that money elsewhere. He never tried to up-sell me on anything and, let me tell you, I am a sucker for a salesperson. That's not Chuck and I'm sure my husband was very grateful for that. There were actual times that he would try to not spend my money on things. You don't find that much in the home remodeling business.

Aside from being responsible and honest, Chuck is also kind. During this reno, we moved out of our home, and Chuck did a great job of making sure everything was locked and secured. He would check on our sump pump if it rained. He would take in a stray package that Amazon forgot to reroute. He did this all without us asking.

Our home is absolutely beautiful. We get compliments on it all the time. We took a standard colonial and turned it into something that I've never seen done in our town before. We love our new home. God willing we will spend many years enjoying the beautiful open floor plan that we now have. If we ever come to a time where we would add on again (possibly a new master or living space upstairs), we would 110% use Chuck again.
