I visited this location a few weeks ago. I had some old jewlery and scrap to sell. After I got buzzed in I was greeted by Mr. Amit Patel. He was AMAZING. He is very knowledgeable and the conversation just flowed the entire time. The amount offered for what I brought in was very competitive. Higher than other places, and he explained why. I got a little nervous when they gave me a post dated check for the next day. But, worse case scenerio, I know where to find him LOL. Please visit him with all your jewlery needs. The best place to take any of your old or unwanted gold or silver, even coins! Im always skeptical at first, but upon first visit, everything was so legit, weighed, discussed, very transparent, very honest. So far Ive went twice, hoping to save me some time selling on eBay, and OMG in just 2 visits I went home with well over $2000. Amit is amazing to work with. Do not hesitate for a second to bring your business here!!

I rarely write reviews, but my experience at Global Gold and Silver in New Jersey was so appalling, I felt compelled to warn others. The man running the place presents himself as a “numismatic expert”—but after speaking with him, I honestly can’t tell if he knows absolutely nothing about coins, or if he knows just enough to try and take advantage of people who don’t.

The storefront is slick, the website is polished, and the marketing is top-notch. But don’t be fooled by the shiny exterior. When it comes to actual service, transparency, and respect for customers’ knowledge, this place falls flat. I came in expecting professionalism and maybe even a bit of shared passion for coin collecting. What I got was vague information, questionable appraisals, and a strong sense that I wasn’t being told the full story.

There are far better places to take your business—where knowledge and integrity actually mean something. This isn’t one of them. Just don’t go. You’ve been warned.
