I have been using Grafe Small Engine for over 5 years now. He has serviced my lawn mower and snow blower. He even has a service to pick up and deliver your items for a fee. Which is great since I don't own a truck. He gives you a date when to expect your item back and he is always either on time or early. Thank you for being such a reliable business.
Been dealing with Fred for many years. Just picked up my zero turn, generator, and snowblower. They did a great job with the maintenance and repairs. It’s nice having a fair and honest small engine repair shop close to home. Piece of mind dealing with Fred.
I recently brought my John Deere mower to Grafe Small Engines to have the drive belt and idler replaced, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Fred Grafe, the owner, is a truly kind and genuine person who clearly takes pride in his work and cares about his customers.
The initial repair was done perfectly, but when I got the mower home, I noticed the PTO switch was blowing a fuse. Even though it was after hours on a Saturday and the shop was closed, I called Fred—and to my surprise, he called me back within an hour. He was sincerely apologetic and assured me he’d get to the bottom of it right away.
I brought the mower back on Monday, and within two hours, it was fixed—free of charge. It turned out to be a mistake on their end, but Fred owned it completely and went above and beyond to make it right. That kind of honesty and customer care is rare these days.
Grafe Small Engines has earned a customer for life. Wonderful place, excellent service, and a great owner/operator. Highly recommended!
DON'T cause yourself the aggravation. 6 weeks ago, dropped off my mower and received great work and service. Even though they denied me adding another piece of equipment before the drop off. The wait was 3 weeks for original appointment. So, we made another appointment for 3 weeks out. Today, called because it's been 3 weeks and never received a call. They wrote down the wrong number is their story but had the right number 6 weeks ago for the first service. Their fix, make a new appointment and still 3 weeks out. Poorly ran business.
Fred is a man of Honor and integrity. Had a problem with my tractor. Took care of it and went far beyond normal means I highly recommend Grafe small engine repair.
