Greek Taverna

We LOVE this place. It's warm, inviting and the food is exceptional. We always get the gyro platter, hummus, and the mango sangria, and it's never disappointed. We brought our almost 2 year old and she absolutely loved the food, and the serving staff is so kind and friendly to her. One of my favorite restaurants in NJ, probably the best Greek food in the tristate area.

It is my first time visiting this Greek cuisine output. The dishes are flavorful and not over powering with sauces. The seafood platter is tender and
soft. It is a simple grill with dash of lemon. The grill fish is fresh, juicy and aromatic. The dish comes with rice and vegetables that makes it a healthy and delicious dining out. Filet mignon skew is tender as well. love the home made yogurt sauce. Overall we like this neighborhood gem. Prices are reasonable and the portion is generous. Will return.

Been here many times. Service is always so friendly and prompt. Lovely, simple seating outside with a beautiful view. Never sat inside, but decor and ambience is lovely there. But the best part is the food is always so delicious. Fresh, clean ingredients. Tastes like REAL food cooked with love, unlike most restaurants nowadays that are overseasoned and packed with fat and preservatives. Will return time and again!

I Always a pleasure to go to the Greek Taverna. We celebrated my husband's birthday and the food was amazing. we asked for the seafood platter and the bronzini (fish) no bones, Marulosalata ( I think that's the name... sorry), but it was AMAZING. On point. Our waitress was so kind and polite she was really nice at the moment to bring the dessert and surprise my hubby. AS ALWAYS THANKS for the amazing food and time

Super delicious!!! Had lunch here on a Sunday (no wait time) and ordered the salmon dish from the small plates part of the menu - decent size and filling. The veggies included a blend of carrots eggplant and zucchini. All delicious!!! The salmon was done medium well, they asked how I preferred it although it seemed a bit over cooked on the end. However the flavor was there. The rice was seasoned well; good portion, not too much, just right! We also had the Turkish coffee and baklava for dessert. In my opinion baklava as a dessert is always too sweet. I chose the walnut over the pistachio option. Love that they offer you naan bread while you wait, may want to order a side of tzatziki to go with it though. Server and staff were super polite and attentive.

Truly loved the vibes here!! The decor created an elegant and otherworldly experience. 😌Would recommend this place, can’t wait to come back & try other plates on the menu.
