Heart + Paw

This was the best experience I have ever had at a veterinarian! The staff were so sweet and loving to my dog, customer service was exceptional, and level of care was excellent. I found a tick for the first time on my dog and they gave me so much information, as well as listened to all of my concerns. My dog was super comfortable almost immediately! ALSO- the care/payment plan is such a great add on.

We recently brought our cat, Mac, to Heart + Paw for an urgent health issue, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Mac is normally seen by Dr. Marmolejo, who has always been fantastic with him, but her schedule was fully booked when this issue came up. Dr. Blackman stepped in, and we couldn’t have been more grateful for the care he provided.

Dr. Blackman was incredibly thorough, compassionate, and clear in explaining what was going on with Mac. He reviewed Mac’s bloodwork with us, showed detailed before-and-after photos of his teeth, and walked us through the entire dental procedure in a way that put us completely at ease. He also personally performed the surgery, and his communication throughout the day was outstanding. We always felt informed, reassured, and confident that Mac was in excellent hands.

The nurses and front desk staff were just as kind and professional. They reviewed Mac’s medications, his recovery instructions, and what to expect over the next few days with great patience and detail. The level of attentiveness and support we received was truly impressive.

We also found the billing to be very fair and transparent, especially considering the amount of work involved and the quality of care provided.

We’re extremely thankful to both Dr. Blackman and Dr. Marmolejo, as well as the entire Heart + Paw team. Their compassion, professionalism, and communication were outstanding. We highly recommend this clinic to any pet owner looking for a veterinary team that truly goes above and beyond.

Absolutely loved Heart and Paw. The receptionists were very welcoming, the facility was very nice, and the tech was very knowledgeable. Most importantly Dr. Blackman was the best. My dog was very comfortable with him as was I. He explained everything to me while he examined and treated my dog. It has been difficult to find a veterinarian I could trust, but I think I have finally found one!

We are always greeted so warmly by all of the wonderful staff members at Heart & Paw. The wait time is more than reasonable. The Vet Tech takes a thorough history to provide to the Vet. Each of the Vet’s we have seen (Dr. Izzy and Dr. Blackman) have paid close attention to any and all concerns we have about our pet’s health and addressed each completely. We have gotten wonderful results and are well on the way to getting our adopted senior dog restored to optimal health. The grooming spa is the absolute best we’ve ever experienced and their follow up is 2nd to none. The fees are reasonable as well. We can’t say enough good things about the care provided here!

I can't say enough about this place. They were my Vet for Pebbles, my dog, all the way to the end. Always took great care of her. Today we had to say goodbye to her after 16 years of love and loyalty, let me tell you, it is not easy. The staff and doctors at Heart and Paw helped us say goodbye with dignity and grace. They couldn't have been any more caring and thoughtful. I love this place, our other dog Hank, loves them too.
