Highly recommend Hidden pastures for a day trip or an overnight stay in their AirBnB! My partner and I visited for three days for her birthday and we couldn't have had a better experience! Natalie & Mike are so welcoming and kind. The cottage where we stayed was clean, cozy, and spacious. My partner took a fiber spinning class with Natalie and she had so much fun! Natalie is an excellent teacher. Mike took us around to visit the animals and even let us hold a 2-week-old baby goat! The storefront is also incredible, with beautiful handmade hats, scarves, and plenty of other knit goods at reasonable prices. We had a great time and will definitely be back in the future.
I can't recommend Hidden Pastures enough! Everyone here is so warm, welcoming, and wonderful. You can really tell how much work and love they put into taking care of all of their beautiful animals, and how much respect they show to the animals too! They really made us feel at home and it was so nice to meet the alpacas, the goats, and their cats as well. Natalie was an amazing spinning instructor and really got me started on a new hobby I'm so excited to take on. She really went the extra mile for me and I am so appreciative of all of her effort and work. I can't say enough good things about the community here at Hidden Pastures, thank you so much for having us! If you are a lover of animals and fiber arts, I think this is a must-stop. Thank you again!!
This was an amazing experience. Seeing the animals and learning about the use of fiber is not something you get to do everyday. Would definitely come back again . The tour guide was extremely friendly!
We got to meet alpaca, goats, llamas, sheep, and more at this wonderful family farm! It was so cool being able to see and interact with herds of animals roaming free in the woods, instead of in the usual fenced-in areas. The owners are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to talk to. This was a highlight of our Poconos trip; could not recommend more highly.
Thank you so much for having us, Mike and Mary!!
This was such a wonderful furry farm experience and would highly recommend for animal lovers. We loved the diversity of animals and the owner was a great host. We also loved being greeted by two adorable pups.
