Great events. Burlington county system does great events there for all different seasons. This one was really exceptional. They had a train ride, Victorian curlers, many vendors under a tent, ice sculpting, an elf game to search out elves, and the Mansion is wonderfully decorated for Christmas and cute ideas. Even a room where a moose and a bear and a deer are all having a card game. Items for sale really discount prices even in the Mansion.
Smithville Park and Trails is an absolutely beautiful escape — the kind of place that reminds you how peaceful and refreshing nature can be. The park is full of scenic views, with winding trails through the woods, bridges over calm waters, and vibrant fall foliage that looks like something out of a painting.
Amazing time at the African Disporia Festival! So many wonderful people 💖 The Underground Railroad Museum was beyond what I expected !
Mansion and grounds are beautiful. Must check out the historic Underground railroad museum.
I really enjoyed the guided tour that I had of the Smithville Mansion. Cathy, the tour guide, provided a very interesting and enthusiastic tour. The history of H.B. Smith, his family and his company were interesting. There are also many interesting artifacts in the house. Finally, I also liked the trails around the property.
