HMH Palisades Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

I had an outstanding experience with the physical and occupational therapy services at HMH Palisades Medical Center. From the moment I started I felt I was in excellent hands. The therapists were not only highly skilled and professional but also compassionate and encouraging. I would like to especially thank my occupational therapists Nicole and Tisha, my physical therapists Endo, Steve, Kaz, Betsy for taking the time to personalize my care and supported me in my recovery.
The level of care extended far beyond the therapy sessions. The aides were always attentive and kind and the schedulers were friendly, organized and always willing to work with my availability.
This team, under Ryan H’s leadership, truly goes above and beyond. I’m so grateful for their dedication and care, it made all the difference in my healing journey.

I give the HMH Palisades Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation center a score of 5 out of 5 for the following reasons:
- Knowledge, expertise and excellent care. Therapy was tailored to my specific condition (lateral epicondylitis) with a variety of treatments, exercises, and progress assessment. I can say that my condition is 100% healed!
- Even better - I received training on exercises that I can continue at home on my own to stay in shape.
- Great staff from the administrative staff and therapists. Tisha is a superb therapist.
- Scheduling - was able to schedule appointments right away (other places had several week waiting list which was not feasible for me); Insurance was processed without any hassles.
- Facility is very good, clean, bright and wonderful views!

My therapist, Betsey, is an amazing, gregarious, and upbeat person. She brightens my sessions even on the most painful days. Her laughter is contagious, and she lights up the therapy room! She's knowledgeable and thinks outside the box. She always remembers my challenge and adapts accordingly. I would recommend her without hesitation. She's gifted in her chosen profession.

I came to HMH with severe neck issues and worked with Rose Tamayo as my main therapist. She did a great job and I achieved a 60% increase in flexibility. I have also improved my posture and upper back strength. I am grateful for the work she did and the directions she provided so I can maintain my new flexibility. I had the honor to be Gabbie’s patient, and with my time here I managed to recover from a previous PCL tear I got from playing soccer. The thing with Gabbie’s sessions was that I was able to do some fun soccer drills with the limited space we had. I also enjoyed the fact that when Gabbie was not available, I would be able to schedule sessions with other physical therapists, who are also patient and caring. This place is a lovely environment, I would recommend this place to my friends and anyone who is looking for a place to receive physical therapy.
