Justin Gutman, M.D.

Dr Gutman was pleasant enough however I felt a little out of place and not entirely confident with my overall experience there. Additionally, a consent form was not formally presented to me to sign until after the fact which in my case was a laser procedure. Not at all how things should be done especially when you consider how that’s where potential side effects, risks and/or complications are listed. None of which were explained to me even verbally before hand. Needless to say, I’m both concerned and disturbed by this. I’m suppose to follow up in a couple of weeks but will do so a lot more cautiously if at all.

Dr. Gutman is thorough, professional, and makes my experience of having to get an eye injection more comfortable. He uses numbing drops to lessen discomfort. I highly recommend Dr. Gutman! He puts me at ease with what is not an easy thing to have to face. I’m thankful to have found him!

Staff is excellent. Very pleasant and professional.
Dr. Gutman is easy to relate to and tells you your diagnosis in layman’s terms.

First time seeing this wonderful doctor and so glad I made the right choice. He made me feel very comfortable every step of the way and explained everything. He’s great! Everyone there was exceptional

Overall experience was excellent and Dr. Gutman made me very comfortable.
I was taken into the start of my appointment on time. The physician’s assistant introduced himself and very professionally and nicely did the normal intake procedures - blood pressure, eye test, dilation- and he explained what additional tests I’d be undergoing before seeing Dr. Gutman. After a short wait in a lounge area, I was taken into an exam room for the first of the tests by a second P.A., who was also very professional and who also explained the tests he’d be administering, including potential side effects i might anticipate. He did the first of those tests, then had me return to the waiting area. Shortly afterwards, i was called in for the remaining test which included an I.V. injected dye by a nurse. Again, all clearly explained and performed.

After another brief wait, I was taken intothe exam room where Dr. Gutman examined me. He’s pleasant, relaxed, calming and knowledgeable. After reviewing my test results, he took time to explain his findings clearly in plain English and answer my questions.

All in all, about as good a medical appointment as you can hope for.
