Dr. Kielar has been our family doctor on my mother’s side since I was about 14 or 15 years old. I’m now nearly 45 and, even though I live a couple of counties away, I still turn to him when I need a *trustworthy* physician who genuinely cares about your health and wellness.
Whether it’s managing chronic conditions (like blood pressure, infections, psoriatic flare-ups, or arthritis) or pointing you in the right direction with specialists for more complex issues (like spinal disc degeneration), Dr. Kielar always provides careful, knowledgeable guidance.
Once you get to know this practice, you realize that both Dr. Kielar and his staff treat you like family. I’ve even considered moving back to the area just to have the peace of mind of being closer to such compassionate care for myself, my family, and my friends.
I was especially moved by another patient’s comment that Dr. Kielar detected her ovarian cancer after only mild, chronic bloating—something that had been dismissed elsewhere. That kind of attentiveness is rare, and it speaks volumes.
Personally, I am grateful to have grown up under his care—from acute issues like appendicitis, to chronic ones like endometriosis and migraines, and now working in tandem with specialists on conditions such as disc disease and osteopenia.
Dr. Kielar is truly a diamond in the rough—a gem of a primary care physician! I will be devestated when he choses to retire but trust that he will make sure his life long patients will be protected with the right follow up/referrals should we need.
I have been seeing Dr Kielar for about 10 years. I moved to NJ and had no idea who to see. I kept going to the urgent care by my apartment because I didn’t have anyone lined up. I chose my husband’s (then boyfriend) family physician.
I really like how much time he spends talking to you. He does not rush you through and is happy to answer all your questions.
Dr. Kielar is very easy to get an appointment with. Once you see him, he is extremely friendly and easy to talk to. If you just need a doctor to sign something, or a school physical, he is a great physician for healthy people. The problem is when someone is sick with anything other than a cold, his insight into disease is extremely limited. While the above review shows that Dr. Kielar thinks a great deal of himself, his differential diagnosis is limited to the point of being dangerous. The most dangerous part of all is that he does not admit when he is in over his head.
Patients have died because of his ignorance and fear of admitting that he does not know. I would be extremely reluctant to use this physician for anything, and I would specifically advise my friends and family members to avoid him.
