I'm a very picky Italian. All I can say is Mama Mia! 🤌🏼🇮🇹 My daughter and I ate so much authentic delicious food today! Can't wait to go back. But I have left overs for a few days! Very clean, staff was amazing! 👏 Very organized! Ran smoothly. My kind of place!!! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

We've been to a couple of the big name cheese steak places in Philly. We liked Lillo's better! We split a cheese steak with cooper sharp cheese and fried onions. Good size for sharing! No lack of meat or cheese. Wow!

Came for the pizza but fell in love with the cheesesteak. The tomato pie is GREAT with just the right amount of sweetness in the sauce and good ratios of dough, sauce, and cheese. The pie is HUGE. Says 18” but seems bigger.

The cheesesteak is one of the best I’ve had anywhere. The seeded roll is crusty in the outside but still soft inside - doesn’t fall apart the massive cheesy meaty amalgamation steaming inside. You taste the bread, steak, and cooper sharp without anything overpowering the other. I’m not a big eater, but I don’t think I can order just the pizza or cheesesteak when I come back - I have to get both. So should you.

We have ordered pizza here before and it's definitely a must try if you haven't as it's a lite crispy crust ,delicious sauce ,cheese and toppings you can tell they use the freshest ingredients and highest quality. Being from South Philly it's worth the trip especially if already in SNJ. This trip we finally got to try the sandwiches as the last trip they were sold out of rolls so we were sure to go on a weekday and early. I grabbed the Chicken Cutlet with Balsamic, roasted peppers, mozzarella and arugula and my buddy grabbed a cheesesteak with peppers and of course we had to get a slice as there's no way you can go there and not grab one plus the plan as always is to take half of the sandwich home for round two later. The sandwiches are packed as you get your money's worth unlike some places where you have to open the roll to find the meat ! Our sandwiches were amazing and we been all over on top of growing up in South Philly so being blown away is hard to do and Lillo's hands down has the best sandwiches in the NJ/Philly area so Philly is no longer home of the cheesesteaks or the go to destination. Can't wait til the Gloucester City location opens as I'll be in there a couple times a week being right over the bridge 😋. On side note everyone working there are happy and love their job and it shows as they go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and the food is good also they don't rush you to order and love to have a conversation and enjoy talking to everyone as this is a old school family operation that's hard to find these days.

This place really didn't live up to the hype! Maybe I was expecting more? I got the cheesesteak with Cooper sharp. It was very good...not great. I have definitely had better. It did come out piping hot, burned the roof of my mouth. The seeded roll was very crisp, and that cut the roof of my mouth also!
Since I was there and their specialty is the tomato pie, I had to get one. I won't do that again. Not my thing. I thought it would be out of this world, but I didn't even like it. Super thin and crispy but the sauce was too vinagry for my taste.
Fountain soda choices were weird and the machine looked kinda dirty
There was, I think, an ice cream machine right next to it, but the dozen or so flies were hogging that particular section.
Also, no wifi and the music was blaring. I wasn't greeted at all, not even when I walked up to the cash register and patiently waited for someone to acknowledge me.
Glad I tried this place, but I won't be returning.
