We had our family and friends holiday dinner here tonight and we had a great time! The food was alright, the serving team was fantastic, and the atmosphere was quite lively (which made conversations a little difficult). Overall, I would definitely come again.
What a fantastic find Mario's Tutto Bene was! We visited on a strong recommendation for their superb food, and they certainly exceeded expectations. The restaurant offers comfortable outdoor and indoor seating in a spacious yet elegant setting, complete with two large rooms and a welcoming bar. The staff were all delightful, and our server was exceptionally attentive and courteous.
Our meal kicked off with their wonderful homemade warm bread and oil, a delicious hint of the quality to come. The chicken parmigiana was perfectly executed – tender, expertly breaded, and served with a rich, delicious sauce and linguini. The Tuscan chicken sandwich was equally impressive, featuring fresh mozzarella, vibrant red peppers, and perfectly seasoned fries.
Overall, our experience was truly outstanding. We were so impressed, we even bought a gift card for friends! Mario's Tutto Bene is perfect for any occasion, from a large family get-together to a romantic dinner for two, like ours. Highly recommend!
TASTY Italian spot in Union with all of the classics. Nice touches with salad and intermezzo included with entrees. We had meatballs, shrimp, and mushrooms apps. They were all very good, particularly the meatballs. Main courses we had flounder stuffed with crabmeat, veggie flatbread, lamb chops and a chicken dish. Served with potato and fresh veggies. Check it out!
This place is lovely. Seemed to be run by a family. Very pleasant upon entering and everyone made sure that you were having a good time and that the meal was to your liking. Server Adrian was very professional and paid attention to our table even though he was busy with other tables. My first time here and I would def visit again. Meal was in good portions and their bread, their dinner bread is so delicious. You must try. Before your entree you get this cute little ice cream cone and the flavor is very lemony (lol) but great. I guess it’s to clean the palate before your meal. Sweet touch and I totally enjoyed it. Free refills on soda for sure. The only drawback I didn’t quite like was, they had a section by the bar where you could watch the game. The restaurant is separated by a French looking glass door but the sound travels inside the restaurant and it was a bit disruptive, especially trying to have a quiet dinner. That section should be totally enclosed I think. Other than that it was great! They were fully decorated for Valentine’s Day as well. Very cute.
Did not like the food. Clams on a half shell were tiny but have to be honest we’re good as well the octopus with the salad under the octopus was drenched the veal Parmesan had way too much breading. The corn chowder soup had no taste, the long hots were all shriveled up. There was nothing left at them. and the muscles marinara had way too much oregano. For $200 for two people was not worth the price there are way too many other good Italian restaurants.
