After watching my son train at Mercer Academy of Martial Arts, I was excited to give it a try. That was over 10 years ago and I still love training. The diversity of the types of classes offered provide a well balanced appreciation of karate. I especially love the self defense classes. The instructors and fellow students provide consistent support while encouraging you to push yourself to your full potential. Training is more than just a workout, its an opportunity to learn more about the craft and about yourself each day. I highly recommend joining!
This is a great school that has a diverse collection of students from pre-schoolers to 50-somethings. The instructors are great and the comradery among the students motivates everyone to train to their full potential. Highly recommend the school for anyone interested in truly learning the meaning behind martial arts, no matter your skill level.
