When I first met Matt, I was seeking a new total health experience. I sought to lose weight, to improve my balance and endurance, and to have more energy. Matt is a consistent motivator who is always upbeat and positive. We talked during our sessions and I immediately realized that this was not a trainer and health coach who simply had a job to do and went through the motions.
Matt truly cares about people. I felt it directly and I watched it from afar as he trained, taught, and motivated others.
I was so excited but not surprised that Matt and Maria launched My Truly Fit Life to serve others. They built a business model that was unique to each individual. They combined their expertise and joyful and helpful personalities with a technology platform that informs, engages and inspires.
My story is one of ups and downs, highs and lows, and they all occurred personally and professionally as I worked out with Matt to pursue my total health optimization. In all cases, Matt and the My Truly Fit Life team were there for me when I needed them with caring, empathy, inspirational words and smiles.

Working with Matt was an absolute game-changer for me! I wanted to increase my strength and cardio so I could be healthier and have more endurance to keep up with my growing family. Working with Matt Smith has been life changing in many ways. I started working with Matt at 58 years old and while struggling to loose weight and keep type 2 diabetes under control. Over the past year and 1/2 I have dropped another 25-30 lbs and my diabetes remains in control. Matt has been my personal trainer for two years! In that time I’ve gained muscle, reduced body fat and feel stronger than ever! He specializes in women’s fitness including perimenopausal recommendations. He also made accommodations for my heart issues, which allows me to continue my fitness journey safely!
