I've been shopping here for years, I'm African America and I know how to make several African dishes, I can remember when they had a smaller shop down the street, always a pleasure to speak with them, and get ideas or help with my ingredients ✌🏾❤️😎
I'm new to the area and I'm american, I have a few african dishes I like to make. So I decided to try this location to pick up some supplies. Unfortunately I will not be returning. It was a little pricey, The selection was pretty good. They did not have agege bread.😞 The saddest part of the whole ordeal was the person at the register. He was so miserable!!!. It was as if he was disgusted by me shopping there. I kept smiling, and told him thank you a few times. I literally had to tell him to smile. He made me feel so uncomfortable I couldn't wait to leave, at one point I wanted to leave the groceries and just walk out. I still remained my pleasant self wished him a good day and thanked him. He didn't respond.. Not a thank you..not have a good day..Just a nasty look on his face the whole time. They lost a customer. 🫤😞I will be trying the other african markets in the area. keeping my fingers crossed.🤞🏽🤞🏽
The NJ African Store has all necessary African food stuffs available. Every time, l am in the community, l usually passed by to purchased some African food. Their hospitality is so awesome 👌
