I took a Sashiko class. It was a bunch of women enjoying each other's company, and showing each other their projects.
Took my first sewing class at Pennington. It was great. Great atmosphere and instructor. Made a quilted journal cover
Great quilt store and sooooooo busy when we got there. Had plenty of staff to be helpful. Wish I lived closer for their classes. Lots of wonderful samples to get ideas.
Great quilt shop with a wide selection of beautiful cotton fabrics! We drove out of our way to visit this shop during a long road trip. We found a lot of fabrics to add to our stashes. They have a good selection of batiks, solid colors, modern prints including designer fabrics (Cotton & Steel, Cloud9, and some Ruby Star Society) as well as a large selection of Kaffe Fasset. A lot of quilts on display for project ideas. Lots of notions and patterns too. They are a Bernina dealer and one of the women solved my Bernina machine problem when I explained the issue. If I lived nearby I would visit this shop often. Worth the detour! Plus they have a bathroom.
Fantastic quilt shop with great customer service and tons of fabric! Lots of modern stuff, including Tula Pink, Kaffe, Amy Butler, Moda, Art Gallery, Batiks, novelty prints, and sale section too.
