Pierce Street Bagel Cafe Deli & Grill

The staff here are great, don’t get me wrong. Very friendly. But the food is not. Very average bagels and the egg and cheese barely has any cheese on it. The egg is cooked very sloppy and is crusty. Had a hard time finishing it. I don’t recommend coming here unless you’re down to your last $5 and can’t afford to eat anywhere else

I am not usually one to write reviews but I feel it may be helpful to some. I have ordered from here a handful of times and whilst the people working are very kind, the food has been average at best (specifically the breakfast sandwiches). I’ll start with the semi-misleading information when you order online through grubhub. It shows that items with meat are vegetarian. I’m not a vegetarian but I think this should be updated on the site as it could confuse people. Screenshot provided. Also orders have been wrong before which is unfortunate but not a big deal most of the time. The reason for the review is because the order was wrong and I had went there to get it resolved (only part of the order was fixed but again no big deal not the end of the world). When I got back home and started eating the bagel, there was a hair in it. This may not bother some people but for myself I can’t continue eating the meal because it grosses me out so much. So now I'm out 7 bucks, grossed out, and still hungry. I can't post the video I took so I screenshotted the video of me pulling the hair out of the bagel. I first noticed the hair on one half of the bagel, it was short, (screenshot with the blue circle). The other side wasnt unwrapped yet as you can see in the photo. But when I unwrapped the other side and looked I found the other half of the hair; it was cut into (rest of the screenshots) I’m giving 2 stars because the workers are nice but will not be ordering from here again.

The woman taking my order was generous and kind. Service was friendly and quick. The place was clean. Bagels were great, delicious, fresh and soft! I got the salt bagel toasted with lox-cream cheese spread. It was great. I love small restaurants like this one. You will eat 100 times better than if you go to a Starbucks or Dunkin.

First time coming and the staff were so welcoming. Barely any wait time. Asked for hot sauce in the side and they provided the best HOMEMADE sauce. Will definitely be coming back.

Went for the first time a few months ago, the food was good, visited the second time a week later, food was great. The third time, which was last month, I wanted to try their online ordering, it says 5% off first time order, I was happy, ordered from it, but when I picked up the order, the total was a lot more than it showed online, they said the online menu was not updated. I noticed someone did mention the same issue on their reviews months ago , and it still remains the same. To me, it’s deceptive practice, as much as I like their food, I wouldn’t visit as frequent as I wanted to
