Beautiful place to go with family, friends or kids. Free entrance, nice trials. I didn't walk all the park, so 🤷 I can talk about.

I have been coming to this park for 12 years and conditions have deteriorated and I am not sure what happened. Visit 8.2.25 5pm-630pm.

I passed dozens of knotted, small bags of dog feces left on the trail and even on a post by the parking lot. I don't know why people think this is ok. (See photo)

Chick fila. Chip bags. A box from soft drinks. This park was not trashed like this during Covid when everyone was eating. (See photo)

A condom wrapper and used condom right on the parking lot. (See photo)

I found a trail cam wired to a tree on the white trail from the parking lot with an hole/animal trap / branches over it. (See photo)

The township spent thousands of dollars paving a road in here, placing a new sign at the trail head. All this but not one trashcan.

They also placed a very large sign obstructing visual exit from the park. If this was in my township I would have been cited. Try making a left turn out of the park.

Next I am sure this park will have a gate restricting access.

There is so much beauty and life around here, the green brings out the truest form of this place. The flow of water brings an aura to nature here, flowers around here are very beautiful, and with so many trees around, when the sun hits the trees it can be very mesmerizing.

It's an easy 2-mile walk that seems to take forever. It's a nice walk, though. Keep in mind that there are a lot of thorny bushes off the trail. If you have a dog, just be aware. There are also no restrooms or trashcan. My only complaint is that the parking lot does not have any signs telling you that you are in the parking lot for the state park. You kind of have to look for a random parking area while driving and assume you're in the right place. You are only allowed to take your dogs on the trail if you park here. The Rancocas Nature Center does not allow dogs on their trails.

This trail is for all types of hiking, from beginner, to moderate, there is something for everyone. There is all types of scenery as well- you could take a walk by the creek, or deep into the fields to catch some bird sight seeing, or even possibly follow the path for a quick run. Whatever your speed is, this park has it. Also very clean, and well mapped out (with the colors for each different trail). I will definitely come back, since I only got to do half the trails.
