Ridgewood Infectious Disease Associates, P.A.

I have been fighting a skin infection for over two years. I saw four Infectious Disease Specialists (none of them at Ridgewood Infectious Disease Associates).

Two were incompetent; I became worse instead of better; two did absolutely nothing for me. Only the intervention and care of a wonderful Dermatologist, Dr. Adriana Ros, saved me from hospitalization or worse.

Due to the failures of previous providers and the limitations on what medications a dermatologist may prescribe, some of the infection resisted treatment and was not fully eradicated. I needed to see another Infectious Disease Specialist; after my negative experiences with prior ones, I was not looking forward to doing so.

Then I saw Dr. Carol Sotsky and she exceeded all expectations. She is the kindest, most humble, and most caring person one could ever meet. She is also incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in treating skin infections.

I highly recommend Dr. Sotsky to anyone who needs competent and compassionate infectious disease care. No doctor can cure every illness, but she will do all that is within her abilities to help those who suffer with infections. Dr. Sotsky practices medicine with excellence, integrity, and genuine concern for her patients; she is outstanding.

Update: After 4 weeks of treatment with Dr. Sotsky I felt the need to add this to my review. Unlike other Infectious Disease Specialists whom I saw, Dr. Sotsky has continued her treatment. She is fully committed to my recovery which I appreciate so very much.

I have been going there for 5 years and I have to say. My doctor is the best. She is always available and very understanding of my concerns. I recommend Carol sotsky she's amazing. And the staff is always so nice.
